Due to expansion Caramel will be looking for a talented Technician/Engineer with experience with Windows and server technologies early in 2009. If you have the following attributes, we would love to hear from you.

Salary

Salary range: $40,000 to $60,000 (dependant on qualifications and experience)
Car, laptop and phone are negotiable

Position Details

The person we are looking for loves technology and wants to work with a client-focussed company with the most advanced methods of supporting customers in Australia, and the infrastructure to provide this support.

We take responsibility for our clients' and we see projects through to completion. As a tech here you would be assigned your own portfolio of clients to look after. This gives you both the opportunity to set up networks as they should be, and it gives you the proper recognition and the ability to take pride in your work.

Facilities

In the next few months we will be moving into amazing new offices custom-created for our team with a "Tech Retreat", an outdoor garden with wi-fi and cordless phones for performing remote work outside, and a private BBQ area. In the mid-term we will be installing a shower and gym.

Our Team

Our tech team consists of only other server techs who also have their own client networks they look after. We do not have only a few server techs and many desktop techs for example. Every person on our team is great to get along with, really loves their work, and has a unique set of skills. You would have the confidence and backup support when going to a job that you have a whole team behind you with very broad and deep skills.

You will need:

• At least 2 years experience with Windows servers
• A love of technology
• Professionalism
• A friendly, customer-focussed attitude
• A firm understanding of networking
• Good presentation

Windows server experience includes any combination of installing and maintaining Windows Server 2003/2008, Exchange 2003/2007, ISA Server, SQL Server, SBS 2003, Windows XP and Vista.

Area of coverage

We look after businesses in all of South Australia, however much of the work we do is remote. 90% of our clients are in either Adelaide or the Barossa Valley.
